Mission
Our mission is to bring together organizations and individuals to unite behind a common public policy agenda at local, state and national levels promoting historic preservation as environmentally and economically sustainable development that invests in communities, creates local jobs, and preserves local, cultural identity.

Who We Are
CPA is a non-profit advocacy group formed to preserve funding and protect legislation that encourages historic preservation programs in Connecticut. Historic Preservation not only retains a sense of place, it reinvests in communities through economic re-investment and sustainable development.

What We Do
A major objective of the our organization is to use the communication power of the internet to keep members informed and to call for support in contacting elected officials in support of the legislative agenda. CPA has helped secure and maintain funding for the Community Investment Act as well as expand state tax credits allowing millions of more dollars to support historic preservation projects in CT.
