CT Preservation Action is sponsoring the post conference cocktail hour and award ceremony for the Audrey Beck Award given to those who significantly further the cause of historic preservation in Connecticut.
This highly respected award has only been presented six times in its 30 years of existence. It was named in honor of the late Senator Audrey Beck of Mansfield who was a major force in Connecticut’s preservation movement.
Past recipients include: Congresswoman Barbara Kennelly, Congresswoman Nancy Johnson, Governor Jodi Rell, Commissioner Emil Frankel of CTDOT, CT Light and Power, and Former SHIPO Officer Jack Shannahan.
